Etcetera

The "Etcetera" page is dedicated to all of the "stuff" I can't seem to let go of...old publications, photographs, stamps, 1st Day Covers...etc. I will add "things" here periodically. No rhyme, nor reason, just a bunch of stuff I find lying around that I'd like to share.

Dance Tags - 1933

Dance "tally" tags from Santa Monica High School 1933.
The girls would wear these and keep track of their dance partners on the back of the tag. These tags were my mothers. Both of my parents attended "Samohi"

"The Distinguished De Soto"

This was my first car! It was 1971 and I was in high school at the time. I thought that this was the coolest car ever! I bought it from a neighbor for all of $75.

Found a bunch of these at a garage sale years ago.
Sing Out! is still alive and kicking!

U.S.Marines, Saipan, 1944

My father was in the USMC during WWII. He was stationed in the South pacific and spent some time in Saipan. I've included a few of the photos that were in this collection.
